School Uniform for 2026/27

Uniform Policy:

Notes:

Red sweatshirt*, jumper or cardigan*

No fleeces / PE hoodies for PE days only

Black or grey skirt, pinafore dress, trousers or tailored shorts

No black/grey denim, or jeans style trousers

Knee length for dresses/skirts/pinafores

White shirt, blouse or polo shirt*

No round neck t-shirts

Socks or tights (white, grey, red or black) must be worn with footwear

No striped, patterned or bright colours

Bare feet with sandals/shoes not permitted

After the Easter Holiday to October Half Term:

Summer dresses – knee length, red + white gingham or striped

Full pattern only, not plain top to gingham/striped skirt

Footwear

Formal black school shoes or plain dark-coloured school sports trainers everyday. On PE days any sports trainers are permitted.

Footwear for uniform days should not have open toes, heels or follow extremes of fashion.

Kit for PE, Games and Athletics:

Children to come to school in PE kit on their PE days

Red t-shirt*

School PE kit with school logo is required for all those selected for school sports teams

Red sports hoodie*

Black shorts/skort (Spring/Summer) or black joggers/leggings (Autumn/Winter) - plain/no logos

Trainers

Jewellery

No jewellery should be worn at school, other than a wristwatch and a pair of small stud earrings.

If a child has pierced ears, earrings must be removed on PE days/sports club/swimming lessons

 

If you wish to have your child’s ears pierced, please do so during the final school week in July, so that they are healed ready for September

Hair styles and accessories must not follow extremes of fashion:

No shaved patterns in hair

No Mohican styles

No big hair accessories

No nail polish

No artificially dyed or brightly coloured hair

 

 

Additional

Refillable water bottle to be provided for every child

A school book bag* is required for all children in Reception Class and Year 1.

Children in Years 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 require a suitable school bag*/rucksack*

Children in Reception Class are recommended to have a waterproof outdoor play suit

Sun hat/woollen hat
