PFTA

In 2025-26 we had a very active Parents, Friends and Teachers Association (PFTA) and they helped fundraise and support school events.

Due to work commitments and busy family lives this committee group ended, events will now be co-ordinated by our school staff, Team Weldon. Requests for helpers will be circulated on our school Friday newsletters, your support will continue to be much appreciated.

Wish List 2026/27:

Our school is currently fundraising to replace classroom desks and chairs, each classroom costs about £5,000. Reception Class and Year 1 have already had their new furniture but Year 2 and now very much in need.

Events:

Our next fundraiser will be a Christmas Fair on Friday 11th December and Christmas Disco Night on Thursday 17th December, watch out for posters with the full details.

Playground Gazebo

This was installed in October 2025 and the children love it! This is a calm space for playtimes, children can spend time with their friends, read a book, etc. Not every child chooses to run around at playtimes so school feels hugely fortunate to have this new addition to their playground. The gazebo cost £10,390. PFTA fundraising, the school's sponsored event in March 2025 and a £5,000 grant from Weldon Parish Council enabled school to purchase this. A HUGE thank you to everyone for your support.
