Sports Premium

Weldon CE Primary School is dedicated to offering all children weekly Physical Education opportunities, including two hours of PE in KS2.

As well as curriculum time PE, the children will have regular opportunities to participate in intra-school and inter-school competitions and activity. PE and sporting opportunities at Weldon CE are inclusive and will always offer opportunity to ALL pupils regardless of ability or need.

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded with the SCHOOL GAMES GOLD AWARD 2024-25.
This award is given to schools to recognise their sporting engagement, pupil access to clubs and tournaments, access to a variety of sports equipment and the promotion of sporting values. This is the second consecutive year Weldon has achieved a Gold and we are super proud!
